The High Line is a wonderful public park built on a historic rail way line elevated above the streets of Manhattan' s West Side. At times I was more mesmerised by the busy streets below, the surrounding architecture and people watching. The High Line is so cool that you could literally stay there the whole day, if you wanted to. We were lucky enough to have a super sunny day in NYC, which made the visit to this public park more enjoyable. I really recommend visiting it, a lot of the old railway track is still visible, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The fact that it was founded by community residents, in the wake of the railways impending demolition, makes it more charming.
